The Opportunity

Aritzia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Talent Management Department as the Director, Retail Talent Management. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for cultivating an engaging and productive environment to motivate and elevate our people to their highest potential.

As the Director, Retail Talent Management, you will play a pivotal role in identifying talent opportunities and driving strategic solutions to support the success and growth of our dynamic, high-performing businesses. You will lead the team to execute talent lifecycle programs, engage with our people, and support the design of the right people, in the right roles, at the right time, and in the right quantity.

The Role

The Director, Retail Talent Management will be responsible for:
  • Executing talent lifecycle programs and engaging with our people to support and elevate them
  • Supporting the design of the right people, in the right roles, at the right time, and in the right quantity
  • Working with partners to support the acquisition of the best talent for today and tomorrow
  • Being the primary support contact to support the cultural integration and productivity of new employees
  • Supporting business leaders in assessing the performance and potential of our people to inform quality people decisions
  • Supporting the retention of top talent through wages, education, and opportunity
  • Facilitating fair and consistent practices to manage incidents

The Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education, and/or experience in people and cultural knowledge, talent management, and retail human resources
  • A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
  • The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team

  • A deep understanding and commitment to the industry in which we operate

The Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is $200,000-$225,000 USD per year. The final agreed-upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
