Business Development Representative

The Business Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect for new customers and develop sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Sell bundled services to new customers and expand the customer base within the assigned territory
- Develop and implement a Territory Plan to drive sales growth and customer acquisition
- Work with Account Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely submission of sales orders, contracts, and billing forms
- Focus on selling and hand off customer service inquiries to the Customer Service department
- Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, and follow-up activities
- Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets
- Bilingual Spanish
Office environment and/or outside environment with exposure to inclement weather
Exposure to moderate noise levels
CompensationThe base pay for this position generally ranges from $43,800.00 to $72,500.00, with a commission earnings target starting at $54,000.
We comply with local wage minimums and offer additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
