We are seeking enthusiastic part-time sports instructors in the Los Angeles region. The ideal candidate will possess experience in either Golf or Tennis.
This role is well-suited for individuals seeking part-time employment, including retirees, high school and college students, stay-at-home parents, nannies, educators, and anyone with a flexible schedule who is passionate about sports and enjoys working with young learners while contributing positively to the community.
TGA Premier Sports merges athletics with academics and essential life skills to deliver enjoyable and interactive youth programs. Our approach includes station-based skill development activities alongside STEAM subjects, allowing participants to explore educational concepts through sports.
Class schedules may vary, but typically fall within the hours of Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 6 PM, depending on the candidate's location. Additional weekend classes are available for those seeking extra hours, typically from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Compensation Structure: Starting pay is $18 per hour, increasing to $25 per hour upon successful completion of the coaching certification. Compensation may rise to $35 per hour based on relevant experience.
Candidate Requirements:
- A genuine enthusiasm for sports is essential.
- Reliable transportation is necessary, as programs are conducted at local schools and parks.
- A dependable means of communication is required.
- Punctuality is crucial, as classes are scheduled after school and students rely on your presence.
- Experience in coaching children is advantageous.
- Prior sports instruction experience is not mandatory; however, a passion for sports is highly recommended, as TGA provides comprehensive curriculum training.
It is recommended that candidates be fully vaccinated upon starting employment, with allowances for legally mandated exemptions. Proof of vaccination may be required in certain regions.
