Job Title: Senior Technical Business Analyst

Centraprise is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business and technical requirements to successful delivery of functionality and optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with architects, technical development leads, solution design leads, UX design leads, product owners, and vendor partners to establish business and technical requirements.
  • Communicate and collaborate to ensure a shared understanding of the definition of ready and definition of done for each work increment.
  • Define and document system specification artifacts, including user stories, API interactions documentation, digital workflows, use cases, data mapping definitions, sequence diagrams, and call flows.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Design team to write Swagger specifications for REST APIs in YAML.
  • Create back-end user stories in Jira that include API payloads, error codes, implementation details, acceptance criteria, sequence diagrams, endpoints, and requirements checklists.
  • Create front-end user stories in Jira that include user interface design, product requirements, business rules, API interactions with UI design, API system integration descriptions, handling error codes, acceptance criteria, endpoints, and requirements checklists.
  • Ability to clearly define business cases in user stories to justify the value of work increments in a detailed manner.
  • Familiarity with design tools, such as Abstract or Zeplin, and an understanding of UI behavior at different breakpoints.
  • Experience working with prototyping tools, such as Invision, to conceptualize future deliveries.
  • Time spent serving as or working closely with a product owner, considering the customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Groom front-end and back-end user stories in Jira, resulting in detail so clear that engineers can develop with ease.
  • Ability to balance a demanding product backlog with a given team's capacity and need to have fully vetted requirements.
  • Optimizing and leading efficient sessions with product owners and delivery teams to ensure readiness of critical work items.
  • Agility in handling evolving requirements and ability to effectively manage frequent changes while collaborating with all stakeholders.
  • Embracing of agile principles to continuously improve processes at a team level.
  • As required, capture test data requirements to support unit and in-sprint quality assurance testing, and create test data Jira tickets.
  • Consideration of QA and testing requirements up-front to ensure complete team effort is captured in estimation.
  • Provide end-to-end test plans, identifying functionality that is available for testing based on development sprint schedules.
  • Display expertise in knowledge of Xfinity Mobile functionality, systems architecture, and systems integration.
  • Apply this functional and technical expertise as an active participant in scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and scrum of scrums.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
