Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between Community Behavioral Health stakeholders and information technology teams to understand the organization's structure, policies, and operations. The successful candidate will recommend effective solutions to enable the organization to achieve its goals through the use of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit requirements from CBH staff to develop business, functional, and technical specifications for specified projects or applications.
  • Act as a liaison to bridge the gap between non-technical users and technical staff.
  • May be required to mentor, assist, and lead other Business Analysts and Team members.
  • Work with project teams to keep projects moving forward by meeting deadlines on assigned tasks and assisting with problem resolution.
  • Participate in the development of training materials, implementation, and post-implementation support.
  • Participate in the development of software test plans, lead testing efforts, and provide recommendations to technical staff for software improvements.
  • Analyze business issues and challenges of CBH and the industry.
  • Run reports and queries to allow management to evaluate system impact and assist in problem resolution.
  • Create state reports and maintain documentation of state and federal guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process engineering and software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of software applications.
  • Interest in working in behavioral health is required; experience is preferred.

Philadelphia Residency Requirement:

The successful candidate must be a current Philadelphia resident or become a resident within six months of hire.
