This individual will act as a bridge between the business sector and the IT department, delivering technical solutions tailored to user requirements.

This position is fully remote.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Evaluates the operations of business partners to identify strengths and weaknesses, pinpointing opportunities for process automation.
  • Facilitates the redesign and documentation of business processes as necessary for the implementation of new technologies.
  • Converts high-level business needs into functional specifications for the IT team and oversees modifications to these specifications.
  • Informs the IT department about the strategic direction of the business.
  • Fosters communication between business units and IT to negotiate agreements and commitments from initial requirements through to final execution.
  • Maintains awareness of technological advancements and leverages this knowledge to propose solutions that enhance the competitive advantage of supported business units.
  • May provide insights for decisions regarding purchasing versus developing solutions.
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of pertinent technical or business experience.
  • Demonstrates expertise in the business units supported and possesses a solid understanding of the IT organization’s systems and capabilities.
