Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

LyondellBasell is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and a proven track record of preparing high-quality financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Compile and review tie-out support for publicly released financial information.
  • Review financial results, prepare variance analysis, and related explanations as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and consistency with other LYB published documents.
  • Participate in the review of the Company's XBRL exhibits in Workiva Wdesk.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with individuals in other departments, both locally and globally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • Typically 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
  • Deadline-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently and achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Must be well-organized, able to prioritize, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC Reporting is required.
  • Working knowledge of XBRL is preferred but not required.
  • Big Four experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Workiva Wdesk is a plus.
