As a key member of our Shared Service Centre, you will play a critical role in supporting the Group Tax Reporting Manager in planning and coordinating the tax reporting process for Seadrill, SeaMex, and Sonadrill.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Group Tax Reporting Manager in planning each tax reporting cycle's timetable, approach, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and provide various tax and accounting information to internal teams, external partners, and auditors.
  • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations of tax accounts and identify and resolve issues.
  • Support the calculation of various group and discrete tax elements.
  • Act as a key liaison point with SSC and External Reporting teams to ensure tax journals are appropriately entered into the system.

Requirements:

  • Qualified chartered accountant with a strong understanding of US GAAP accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
