About the Role

The Commercial Banking Relationship Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial banking products and services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate client needs and align them with the appropriate bank products and services
  • Perform initial vetting and structure of loan transactions, including preparation of term sheets
  • Direct the underwriting of loan transactions, including analysis of financial statements
  • Presentation of credit packages to the appropriate parties for approval
  • Work with the Portfolio Administrator and/or outside counsel to prepare loan documents and close loan transactions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or business
  • 5 years of portfolio management and real estate underwriting experience
  • 5 years of proven sales record in meeting or exceeding goals in commercial lending
  • Formal or in-house credit training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervision of a team or in a leadership role
