Measurement Specialist

We are currently looking for a Measurement Specialist to join our team at Amentum. This role involves working on our Research Laboratory Support (RLS) contract with the U.S. EPA Center for Environmental Measurement & Modeling (CEMM) - Air Methods & Characterization Division (AMCD) located in Research Triangle Park, NC.
">The successful candidate will have a minimum of an associate degree and 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting. They will be responsible for collecting calibration data, calibrating sensors, reducing and analyzing data, and generating calibration certificates.
Key Responsibilities- Calibration and Data Analysis: Collect calibration data, calibrate sensors, reduce, analyze, and interpret data using statistical tools in MS Excel.
- Communication: Effectively communicate calibration results in writing and orally to environmental scientists, engineers, and other specialists.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to procedure, technique, and process improvement.
- Record Keeping: Maintain electronic records of measurement results and reports in accordance with CMS and EPA records management protocols.
