Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description:
Nuclear medicine technologists play a vital role in diagnostic imaging, working with radioactive materials to create detailed images of the body's internal structures. This position requires coordination and participation in technical procedures, including in vivo and in vitro studies, as well as operation of radiation detection and measurement instrumentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and participate in various technical procedures
  • Operate radiation detection and measurement equipment
  • Prepare radiopharmaceutical materials for patient administration
  • Calculate data from patient studies and radioactive decay
  • Evaluate recorded images for technical quality
  • Process computerized image data
  • Provide patient care during examinations

Requirements:
  • Graduate or completion of a program meeting eligibility requirements for registry/certification
  • ARRT (N) certification and/or NMTCB certification within 18 months
  • BLS certification
  • Proficiency in office-related computer software
  • Familiarity with radiation protection and safety guidelines
