Position Summary:
We are seeking candidates for the role of Mechanical Assistant Project Manager (MAPM) to support our Field Operations team in the Jacksonville, FL / Kings Bay, GA region. The Mechanical APM will assist the Mechanical Project Manager in overseeing all facets of mechanical construction projects, from initial concept to final execution. This role involves organizing, planning, directing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, and managing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality work that meets project specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines, all while aligning with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $75,000 to $95,000.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred coursework includes project management, construction management, mechanical trade school, BIM, and CADD.
  • At least two years of experience as a Mechanical Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer, managing mechanical scopes of projects valued at a minimum of $5,000,000.
  • Field or trade experience with mechanical systems is highly desirable, especially in government, military, or large commercial construction settings. Experience in the design-build industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Primavera P6 is preferred, with training available.
  • Familiarity with specific software such as BIM is preferred, with training provided.
