Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of an Automotive Sales Assistant is to facilitate the operations of the Sales Department by managing the movement, reception, and parking of vehicles to meet the requests of the sales team. This role is crucial in maintaining an organized inventory and ensuring that vehicles are appropriately parked.

Automotive Sales Assistants are dedicated to delivering outstanding service, ensuring that all interactions with the sales department are conducted with professionalism, courtesy, and a positive demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organization of all new vehicle lots, manage new car keys, prepare sold vehicles, and respond to requests from the sales team.
  • Coordinate the logistics of new vehicle deliveries between the dealership and parking areas.
  • Address all requests from sales personnel regarding sold and test-drive vehicles.
  • Manage the connection and disconnection of trickle chargers during dealership operations.
  • Charge electric vehicles as necessary.
  • Ensure that all vehicles displayed in the showroom are in pristine condition; notify the Car Wash Manager if cleaning is required.
  • Check, document, and adjust seat memory settings as needed, ensuring that all specifications are noted prior to vehicle delivery.
  • As the final point of contact for our guests, ensure that all vehicles meet the highest standards of presentation. Always engage with a smile, maintain eye contact, and express gratitude for the customer's business.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong navigation skills and familiarity with navigation tools for locating delivery sites.
