Position Summary
The Cost Analyst will deliver comprehensive financial, economic, and cost analysis services as an integral member of the project team, aiding in program management support for the project manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain cost documentation in compliance with DoD Acquisition Management standards. This includes preparing Cost Analysis Requirements Documents (CARD), Economic Analysis Development Plans (EADP), and Economic Analyses (EA).
- Conduct scenario and affordability assessments, incorporating excursions and sensitivity analyses utilizing historical performance data, cost models, and program metrics.
- Collaborate closely with program and acquisition managers to formulate acquisition strategies, analyses, plans, and documentation.
- Provide cost analysis services that support program business management initiatives.
- Execute internal cost and budgeting evaluations along with independent government cost estimates for contracting activities.
- Review vendor pricing, billing, costing, and scheduling forecasts, along with work breakdown structures.
- Deliver information updates and presentations to various executive offices associated with the program.

Qualifications
- A minimum of ten years of experience in Operations Cost or Financial analysis.
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Operations Research, or other business-related fields.
- Previous experience as a cost analyst in support of DoD acquisition programs is preferred but not essential.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) or similar cost estimating parametric applications is advantageous.
- An active Secret Clearance is required.
