Job Title: Energy Market Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Market Analyst to join our team at LVI Associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production cost modeling, integrated resource planning, and a deep understanding of the US power markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial and strategic analysis to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain complex scenario models to analyze market trends
  • Run production cost models to optimize resource allocation
  • Review and analyze load forecasts to identify opportunities for growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in production cost modeling and capacity expansion
  • Proficiency in PLEXOS or similar tools, such as PROMOD, Aurora, Dayzer, or EnCompass
  • Strong knowledge of power markets in the US, including analysis and modeling
