Job Title: Senior Operations Finance Analyst

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance organization, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer daily financial management of complex contracts and/or strategic partnership accounts.
  • Perform cash flow and variance analysis for assigned projects, accurate project budgets, and regular reconciliations and analysis of revenues and billing.
  • Provide financial guidance to operations management and other staff.
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure sponsors are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Lead and participate in the analysis of cost assignments, ensuring all assigned projects enforce to accepted cost accounting standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years).
  • Sophisticated knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices.
  • Ability to apply sophisticated knowledge, skills, and expertise to analysis.
  • Good business acumen with ability to understand sophisticated interpersonal structures and environments.
