**Job Overview:**

As a key member of our maintenance team, the Service Manager will be responsible for supervising and training staff, as well as assisting the Community Manager with various tasks. This role offers an estimated salary of $65,000 per year, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in residential property management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules and ensure all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Organize and maintain the maintenance shop, keeping accurate inventory records of equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Schedule and conduct regular safety meetings with staff to promote compliance with safety standards.
  • Verify all contracts and scopes of work before beginning projects, and oversee their completion to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Research and recommend vendors as needed, overseeing their work to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and supervise staff to meet operational goals.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service.
  • Manage recordkeeping and reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Report major repair needs and requisitions to the manager before spending funds.
