Job Summary

Catholic Charities is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Regional Client Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Homeless Services department, you will play a critical role in connecting families with children experiencing homelessness to essential services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive case management for homeless families, addressing challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, mental health issues, substance abuse, financial difficulties, and social support needs.
  • Manage an assigned caseload of 24 families, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Screen homeless individuals and families for eligibility and services, utilizing your expertise to identify and address complex needs.
  • Develop and implement Individual Housing Stability Plans tailored to each family's unique circumstances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting all interactions and progress.
  • Conduct regular follow-up activities to ensure successful implementation of the Housing Stability Plan.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to provide referrals and support services, enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.
  • Assist clients in accessing essential services, including Interim Housing, Housing Navigation, Time-Limited Subsidies, Eviction Prevention, and CoC-Supportive Housing Programs.
  • Support Community Center operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient delivery of services to our clients.
Requirements
  • Experience working with homeless populations and a solid understanding of the McKinney-Vento Act.
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication, with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Clarity, and HMIS.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of related experience, with a proven track record of success in case management and homeless services.
  • Cultural competence and ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including African Americans, Asians, and Hispanics.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in completing Section 8 paperwork.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
