About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled F-35 System Engineer - Testing to join our Data Analysis, Products, and Services (DAPS) team at BAE Systems USA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans for the F-35 Aircraft Health Management (AHM) Platform in support of ALIS and ODIN.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to create test plans within an ALIS environment.
  • Design and maintain tests and testing environments.
  • Conduct testing within an ALIS environment to industry standards.
  • Work collaboratively with BAE SYSTEMS and LM subject matter experts.
  • Develop validation and verification scenarios.
  • Analyze and verify system requirements.
  • Produce documentation outlining analysis.
  • Experience with configuration management processes and tools.
  • Develop systems engineering plans to provide essential structures PHM capability within a global sustainment toolset.
  • Work within an Agile Development environment to provide detailed system design and preliminary software design.
  • Develop technical route maps for major customer reviews.
  • Interface with various stakeholders to develop capabilities.
  • Manage workload according to contracted schedule.
  • Provide internal progress reports.
  • Attend and provide input to customer review meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field (or equivalent experience) with at least four years of professional experience.
  • Experience in developing and writing test plans.
  • Experience in system engineering methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently with general guidance from technical manager.
  • Able to converse about technical content with diverse range of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the F-35 program.
  • Experience using ALIS programs such as CMMS and SHM.
  • ALIS Admin experience.
  • Experience using Common Desktop Environment (CDE) or System Test Tool.
  • Experience utilizing Atlassian Tool Suite: JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket.
  • Proven communication experience across diverse teams in multiple locations.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL scripts.
