We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team in providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a direct care worker, you will be responsible for assisting our clients with daily living activities, promoting their personal growth, and helping them achieve their goals.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Encourage independence and self-advocacy
- Collaborate with our team to develop personalized care plans
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, compassionate, and reliable individual
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
