Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker for Adults with Developmental Needs to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized support and advocacy to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and realize their potential.
Key Responsibilities- Assist adults with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, medication management, and household maintenance
- Support adults with behavioral challenges and complex needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with adults, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to identify and address individualized needs
- Associate's degree in Human Services or related field required
- 2+ years of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
- A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
