Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store management team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store during their assigned shift. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, team leadership, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and soliciting feedback to improve service.
  • Team Leadership: Train and develop team members in all positions, assist with team member orientations, and provide hiring recommendations to the Store Manager.
  • Operational Excellence: Complete daily and weekly store paperwork, including sales reports, inventory, and labor breakdown reports. Travel to the bank to purchase change and pick up deposit bags.
  • Store Management: Supervise and operate the store independently if needed, in the absence of the Store Manager for prolonged periods.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of previous supervisory and QSR management experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Build and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and guests. Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and ability to manage difficult customer situations.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to bend and stoop, kneel or crouch. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
