The Opportunity

The IT Technician's role is to ensure system operation and functionality so that end users can accomplish business tasks.

The position requires both proven experience, outstanding customer service and personal communication skills.

The successful candidate is a leader, who identifies problems, participates in designing solutions, and holds themselves accountable.

The position offers the opportunity to grow your career, leverage cutting-edge tools and technology, work onsite and remotely while engaging with clients.

There is always a new problem to solve and solution to design and build.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to support requests in a timely manner
  • Supervise the servicing for all support tickets
  • Ensure the satisfaction of the end-user
  • Participate in designing solutions and holding themselves accountable
  • Work jointly with the sales team to provide pre-sales and post-sales support
Requirements
  • Previous managed service provider (MSP) experience
  • 7+ years hands-on IT support or help desk experience
  • Strong networking knowledge and experience in creating and managing VLANs and routers
  • Experience setting up, configuring, troubleshooting Windows servers and workstations, Active Directory, Microsoft 365
  • Experience with server administration via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS
  • Experience setting up, configuring firewalls such as Sonicwall, Sophos, Watchguard, Fortinet, Cisco, Ubiquiti
  • Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) such as Kaseya, ticketing system such as Autotask or Connectwise), Jamf
  • Experience with backup technologies including cloud-based backups such as Datto
  • Provided exceptional customer service and technical expertise on inbound calls and tickets generated by customers
  • Performed onsite systems, network and security assessments using standard best practices and industry standard tools
  • Possesses strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable and a team player
Ideal Qualifications
  • CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+
  • CCNA or CCIE-Cisco Certifications
  • Microsoft and Microsoft Azure Certification
Compensation

$75,000 - $80,000
