Job Summary

The Workforce Development Manager is responsible for the administration and management of all workforce development programs, ensuring alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma-informed care lens. This position oversees delivery and oversight of all contracts and corresponding deliverables, budget management, community representation, and collective impact in the assigned area or areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and mentoring to staff to ensure effective services are delivered with measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and agency's senior leadership team to ensure services are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and deliverables to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Represent the agency in the community, building relationships with stakeholders and promoting collective impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, behavioral health, social sciences, or related field.
  • Two years of experience in directing/supervising staff and contracts in the achievement of agency and stakeholder goals.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable.
  • Certificate or license, as applicable, by the appropriate State agency as a qualified practitioner.
  • State of Texas vehicle operator's license and proof of liability insurance.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear, and taste or smell.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust your focus with good hand-eye coordination.
