Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Electromagnetic Systems Evaluation Engineer who possesses hands-on expertise in the development and assessment of RF and Radar Systems, including advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) methodologies and countermeasures.

Role Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Design and analyze high-fidelity models of military technologies, including sensors, weaponry, command and control algorithms, network communications, and EW systems.
  • Develop and implement prototype hardware and software to create RF environments for cutting-edge technology demonstrations.
  • Innovate RF test fixtures, measurement techniques, and testing equipment.
  • Create software for electronic support (ES) and electronic attack (EA) algorithms, assess electronic warfare metrics, and integrate solutions into an EW testbed.
  • Construct a digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) system software model capable of processing I&Q inputs and interfacing with RF simulation environments.
  • Develop closed-loop digital and RF models to evaluate adaptive, autonomous, or cognitive sensor systems, including assessment measures for machine learning systems.
  • Conduct research as part of interdisciplinary teams focused on machine learning and artificial intelligence applications for DoD electronic warfare initiatives, with potential leadership opportunities.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in radar/EW systems, or a Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and a solid understanding of scientific programming and algorithm development.
  • Experience in radar signal processing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively in team settings as well as work independently.
  • Creativity and strong problem-solving skills, with the capability to analyze complex systems.

Preferred Skills:
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
  • Knowledge in areas such as digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, and stochastic processes.
  • Experience in modeling and simulation (M&S), adaptive radar, signal processing, and algorithm development.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Verilog HDL.
