Role Overview

As a vital member of AESC US LLC, you will be instrumental in developing and managing the cost management framework, executing cost analyses, generating cost reports, conducting bid evaluations, and scrutinizing budget discrepancies. Your expertise will be essential in effectively monitoring Engineering Procurement Construction activities and providing strategic insights to ensure financial efficiency and project success. You will also play a key role in standardizing project progress reporting and facilitating cross-departmental information sharing, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Project Controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster communication and collaboration among team members, clients, and stakeholders to achieve project and cost objectives.
  • Lead the establishment and execution of cost management programs for construction initiatives, overseeing budgets, commitments, incurred costs, invoiced amounts, and projections.
  • Guide and mentor team members in financial reporting, cost tracking, and analytical functions.
  • Conduct workshops to align teams on critical project matters and cost-effective strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and monitor project risks.
  • Analyze cost data, historical trends, and market conditions to ensure precise and competitive estimates.
  • Provide preliminary estimates for design modifications.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through value engineering initiatives.
  • Coordinate workshops for consensus on key issues and design alterations.
  • Manage weekly financial reporting, collaborating with the Project Management team to refine financial strategies, objectives, and metrics.
  • Oversee the change management process to ensure accurate cost forecasts.
  • Support project financial reporting and invoice review processes as needed.
  • Maintain historical cost data for benchmarking to assist estimating and procurement teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in project controls, preferably within industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and a thorough understanding of technical and legal documentation.
  • Proven track record of innovation and meticulous attention to detail, especially in managing high-profile projects.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in software tools including AutoDesk Cloud, Oracle Unifier, P6, Bluebeam, CAD, and other construction-related applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical/clean room environments.
