Role Overview

As a vital member of AESC US LLC, you will be instrumental in developing and managing the cost management program. This includes conducting cost analysis, generating cost reports, performing bid evaluations, and analyzing budget discrepancies. Your expertise will ensure effective monitoring of Engineering Procurement Construction activities and provide strategic insights for cost efficiency and project success. You will also be key in standardizing project progress reporting and facilitating cross-functional information exchange. In this position, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Project Controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance communication and collaboration among team members, clients, and stakeholders to meet cost and project goals efficiently.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of cost management strategies for construction projects, managing approved budgets, total commitments, incurred costs, invoiced amounts, and future cost projections.
  • Guide and mentor team members in financial reporting, cost tracking, and analytical functions.
  • Conduct workshops to align teams on critical project matters and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and monitor project risks.
  • Evaluate cost data, historical records, and market trends to ensure precise and competitive estimates.
  • Provide preliminary estimates for design modifications.
  • Spot cost-saving opportunities through value engineering initiatives.
  • Coordinate workshops to achieve consensus on key issues and design alterations.
  • Oversee weekly financial reporting, collaborating with the Project Management team to refine financial reporting strategies, objectives, and metrics.
  • Manage the change management process to ensure accurate cost forecasts.
  • Support project financial reporting and analysis functions, including the invoice and billing review process as needed.
  • Maintain historical cost records for benchmarking data to assist estimating and procurement teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project controls, preferably within industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with construction methods and practices across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and a comprehensive understanding of technical and legal documentation.
  • Proven innovation and attention to detail, especially in managing high-visibility or complex projects.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with staff and stakeholders.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in software systems and tools such as AutoDesk Cloud, Oracle Unifier, P6, Bluebeam, CAD, and other construction-related applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical/clean room environments.
