Key Responsibilities- Financial Operations
- Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and check requests, obtaining approvals for payment as needed.
- Schedule payments and record them to the correct expense accounts in our accounting software.
- Familiarity with various methods of payment, including checks, online bank bill pays, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions.
- Human Resources Support
- Assist with job postings, recruitment activities, and management of our Applicant Tracking System.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including management of documentation, such as I-9s, background checks, reference checks, and health requirements.
- Manage annual Sexual Harassment Training completion for all employees.
- Manage time off and attendance for non-teaching staff.
- Prepare employment Verification letters and complete forms for mortgages, rent, and teacher certifications.
- Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to our Global HR Director and CFO as needed.
- Assist with other HR and/or Accounting Department projects and tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting/finance experience required.
- Proficiency in accounting software programs, including Google for Business, Excel, Word, Adobe, and QuickBooks.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and highly attentive to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines.
- Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed.
