Job Summary


New Braunfels Vision Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will work closely with our Therapeutic Optometrist to provide exceptional patient care and support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch patient care and attention to detail
  • Take initiative to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest ophthalmic technologies and procedures
  • Assist with patient exams, including taking medical histories and recording patient information
  • Help with ordering contact lenses and educating patients on proper use and care
  • Support the optometrist with administrative tasks, such as charting and data entry

Requirements

  • Ophthalmic certification or experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Monday through Friday schedule
