Job Summary

Moran Environmental Recovery is seeking a skilled Line Handler to join our team. As a Line Handler, you will be responsible for executing field work on marine projects while ensuring strict compliance with corporate policies, health and safety protocols, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute field work on marine projects under direct or indirect supervision.
  • Complete job-specific paperwork, including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms.
  • Work within project scope to maintain compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and corporate policies.
  • Perform work safely during all phases of the job.
  • Ability to work in areas of varying dimensions, involving squatting and crawling.
  • Ability to follow directions, read and understand English, and recognize common danger placards and hazardous warning literature.
  • Operate boats ranging from 24' to 32' and perform safety checks on vehicles.
  • Respond to emergency on-water spills and understand company and client safety standards.
  • Work outside year-round in all types of weather and may be exposed to extreme environmental conditions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent reading, writing, and reasoning skills).
  • Experience in safely operating small marine vessels.
  • Boat Operator's License (6-pack) preferred but not required.
  • A valid Class 'D' Driver's License is required.
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) preferred.
