Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HVAC Service Operations Coordinator to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our service operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely completion of preventative maintenance and aligning with monthly forecasting goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and schedule customer calls for service, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting monthly forecasting goals.
  • Manage the schedule of assigned technicians and mechanics, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Debrief activities of assigned technicians/mechanics daily, coordinating with technicians/mechanics to resolve concerns quickly and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assess job completion and collaborate with Customer Billing Coordinators and Customer Support Coordinators to progress completed jobs through the appropriate business process.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure work has been performed to their expectations and perform follow-up as needed.
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve or escalate customer issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain consistent communication with assigned technicians, ensuring they have the necessary information and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Follow up on activities to ensure completion within established timeframes and ensure all customer account information is up to date in NxGen.
  • Participate in weekly planning/scheduling meetings to discuss service operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with monitoring time and expense reporting submission and review and correct unassociated time for timesheets for technicians.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, plus two to five years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
  • Able to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
  • Able to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks/goals.
