Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Financial Management Specialist to join our team at the Department of Defense. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for managing and executing Federal Loan and Loan Guarantee programs, developing and coordinating guidance that affects the financial execution of Direct Loans and Loan Guarantee Programs, and managing and reporting Loan/Guarantee audit remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute Federal Loan and Loan Guarantee programs
  • Develop and coordinate guidance that affects the financial execution of Direct Loans and Loan Guarantee Programs
  • Manage and report Loan/Guarantee audit remediation efforts
  • Prepare and present high-level briefings and reports
  • Develop complex responses to financial management issues
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service
  • Experience managing and executing Federal Loan and Loan Guarantee programs
  • Experience developing and coordinating guidance that affects the financial execution of Direct Loans and Loan Guarantee Programs
  • Experience managing and reporting Loan/Guarantee audit remediation efforts
