About the Role

LMI is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team at a client location in the National Capital Region. As a Financial Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the monitoring and reporting of program execution under the International Security Cooperation Program (ISCP) and other security cooperation program accounts managed by DSCA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide programmatic and administrative support to ensure the successful execution of ISCP and other security cooperation programs.
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating information to foster interdepartmental relationships and support the production of weekly execution monitoring reports.
  • Perform research and analyze data to inform program decisions and support budget management.
  • Support the production and delivery of the Section 333 Quarterly Monitoring Report.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong computer, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to research and communicate effectively in writing. Additionally, you will need to have flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management staff and Department of Defense (DoD) counterparts.

Technical Skills
  • Knowledge and prior experience in financial management and project management.
  • Understanding of budgeting and appropriations as it relates to program execution.
  • Ability to foster a positive relationship with DoD Agencies, State Department, respective Combatant Commanders, Joint Staff, Military Departments, and in-country Security Cooperation Officers.
Computer Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Excel to perform data evaluation, formulas, analytics, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to transfer presentation graphics from Excel into PowerPoint or Word.
  • Increased computer skills are a capability above threshold minimum requirements, such as SharePoint, Access database, graphical arts, and media presentation.
Clearance Requirements

A SECRET clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
