Job Summary: As a Human Resources Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a vital role in supporting the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers. Your primary responsibilities will include organizing and maintaining personnel records, providing data entry and retrieval support, and processing recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, maintain, and review personnel records
  • Provide data entry and retrieval support
  • Process recommendations
  • Arrange awards ceremonies
  • Prepare and update requests for evaluations
  • Prepare and monitor Soldier requests for ID cards and tags, leaves of absence, and passes
  • Maintain office supplies and filing systems

Requirements:

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
