Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Clerk is responsible for handling all incoming calls and visits made by team members in the Human Resource office. HR Clerk should have a working knowledge of all Human Resource responsibilities and possess proficiency with various types of computer software including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. •Guest Service for all TM and vendors •Office phone call answering and distribution •Mail delivery and pick up •Filing •Assist in auditing I-9's and personal files •HR all call notes and distribution •Upload of disciplinary actions and medical documentation in Ulti Pro •Employment verification with the Work Number •Birthday card distribution •Assist TM with badge access, EDR access and password resets •Assist with termination documentation filing process •Assist in distribution of TM awards •Assist with I-9 audits •Assist with ordering supplies in SWS •Make green new hire folders for orientation •Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

QUALFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required. Clerical or customer service related experience is required. Excellent computer skills, with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, and an ability and willingness to learn new systems as implemented by the company are required. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications is necessary. Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming and Horse Racing License.

Indiana Grand Racing & Casino is a smoking establishment, therefore must be able to work in a smoking environment. Must be able to work in a highly populated fast-paced and noisy environment.
