- JOB SUMMARY
- Functions as a team member and supports the patient's health care team providing compassionate, cost effective patient care, emphasizing the delivery of quality and effective utilization of resources to maintain a high standard of patient satisfaction. Patient Care Tech will be responsible for providing basic physical care and other advanced technical care to patients as designated. Maintains confidentiality of information regarding patients, personnel, and hospital business.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional & Technical Skills
- Experience gained through any approved nursing assistant program and/or prior nursing assistance experience is preferred. Appropriate period of hospital orientation to the assigned patient care areas and personnel.
- Education
- High school graduate or GED highly desired.
- License(s) or Certification(s)
- Past hospital experience preferred.
- Other Skills or Requirements
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
