Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, maintaining employee records, and administering various employee benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration
    • Enter, maintain, and process payroll information in our system, including employee hours, salaries, and deductions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including taxes, benefits, and charitable contributions.
    • Collaborate with our Finance team to reconcile payroll to the general ledger, bank statements, and taxes.
  • HRIS and Systems
    • Provide technical support for our People Ops team and cross-functional partners through report creation, generation, and maintenance.
    • Stay up-to-date on trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
    • Maintain and enter employee data changes, ensuring data integrity.
    • Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll, benefit, and employee data.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Assist with the open enrollment process and ensure timely completion of benefits reporting requirements.
    • Administer various employee benefits programs, including group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
    • Review and respond to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation.
    • Coordinate workers' compensation claims with our third-party administrator and follow up on claims.
    • Coordinate trainings and communications to help employees understand company benefits and other related incentive programs.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year payroll processing experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of benefit administration experience.
