ROLE SUMMARY:
This position involves a variety of tasks within a warehouse setting, focusing on the processes of picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and organizing inventory. The individual will be accountable for verifying and managing incoming and outgoing shipments. Proficiency in performing all operational duties, including put-aways and picks, is essential. The role typically requires working from written instructions, although verbal directives may also be utilized when necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize an order picklist or RF scanner to fulfill customer part requests from warehouse storage.
- Assemble parts according to the order pick list and transport them accurately to the packing area.
- Ensure precise counting for each order prior to packaging, maintaining responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of orders. This may involve completing partially filled orders before packing.
- Execute tasks related to the shipping and receiving of goods.

Receiving duties encompass counting and inspecting items to confirm completeness against shipping documentation, checking for any damaged products, and maintaining records of shortages, discrepancies, and damages.

Shipping responsibilities include weighing and labeling items, preparing and attaching shipping documentation, and keeping a log of dispatched goods.

Final accountability lies with the individual to ensure that shipments are complete and accurate before dispatch, which includes verifying the contents of outgoing orders against the order pick list and rectifying any discrepancies.

- Prepare and maintain documentation related to receiving and shipping reports and other relevant records.
- Conduct all necessary system transactions and implement corrections as needed.
- Operate an electric-powered forklift to move, stack, and load or unload materials. Duties may also involve using banding machines, tape machines, and RF scanners.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse setting.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with PC-based software programs is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive demeanor.
- Ability to meet deadlines; accuracy and timeliness are critical.

- Must be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs, as well as reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, and spending the majority of the workday walking and standing on a concrete surface.

- Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions.
- Mathematical skills to modify and correct data for accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while being flexible and cooperative.
