Human Resources Lead

PeopleShare is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager for a client specializing in outdoor power equipment and retail operations. This role is pivotal in steering the HR functions with an emphasis on fostering employee engagement, developing policies, and managing benefits administration.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm
- Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Short and Long-term Disability, Company-paid life insurance, 401(k) plan, and Paid Time Off
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and enhancing employee satisfaction.
- Lead initiatives to boost employee engagement and maintain a motivated workforce.
- Formulate, implement, and uphold HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and legal standards.
- Supervise and mentor one direct report, providing guidance to support their professional development.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure HR strategies are in sync with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated HR experience, ideally within outdoor power equipment or retail sectors.
- SHRM certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing HR functions effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of benefits administration and policy formulation.
