Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and organized Sales Analyst to join our team at UNFI. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting, data mining, and data analysis to support the Sales team and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Data Mining & Analysis (40%)
    • Assess sales data to identify sales patterns, areas for improvement, and contract compliance.
    • Examine market data to identify opportunities for the sales team to increase its efforts.
    • Evaluate data using various tools to identify root causes and possible solutions to business issues.
  • Sales Forecasting (20%)
    • Create sales and revenue forecasts using economic conditions, pipeline analysis, and key sales performance indicators.
    • Gather and analyze forecast information on sales, products, and customers for assigned territories.
  • Account Support (20%)
    • Assist in preparing sales materials and working with Operations teams to determine delivery status.
    • Work with internal teams to determine the arrival of out-of-stock products.
  • Project Support (20%)
    • Provide direct support to customer data and IT teams to research and resolve issues with transmitted company data.
    • Submit IT Service Requests to automate ad hoc reports, enhance system functionality, and fix system issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of sales analyst experience preferred
  • Understanding of sales forecasting, programs, promotions, and related techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce CRM, and other company systems
