Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to oversee our luxury Independent Living community. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in hospitality or country club management, looking to make a significant impact in the senior housing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operations of the community in alignment with the standards set by the Owners/Board of Directors and applicable regulations.
  • Articulate and exemplify a resident-centered vision that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and nurture relationships within the local community to drive business growth and enhance market presence.
  • Implement a robust external business development strategy to maximize referrals and resident move-ins.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of state regulations and ensure compliance across all operations.
  • Oversee the management of resident administrative files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Achieve financial objectives while maximizing returns for capital partners.
  • Possess functional knowledge of all operational programs, including memory care and dining services.
  • Prepare and adhere to the community budget, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Review financial statements and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Control non-labor operating costs in accordance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure timely processing of monthly expenses and budget data.
  • Meet expectations for net operating income (NOI) and occupancy rates.
  • Supervise all departments to ensure efficient operations and adherence to financial goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of managerial experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
  • Experience in hiring, coaching, and managing performance in a team environment.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing operating expenses effectively.
  • Administrator License or certification is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
