We are seeking an Executive Director to lead our esteemed Independent Living community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and management of the community, ensuring adherence to the standards set by the Owners/Board of Directors and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Articulate and exemplify a customer-centric vision, focusing on a resident-centered approach to care.
- Establish and nurture relationships within the local community to drive business growth and optimize pricing strategies for revenue enhancement.
- Implement a robust external business development strategy with clear accountability, aiming to maximize referral leads and resident move-ins.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of state regulations and ensure compliance in all resident-related matters.
- Ensure that all resident administrative records are meticulously maintained and compliant with state requirements.
- Achieve financial objectives to maximize returns for capital partners.
- Possess functional knowledge of all operational programs, including memory care, clinical services, dining, and social activities.
- Prepare and adhere to the community budget, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded through effective occupancy management.
- Review financial statements monthly and implement corrective actions for any deficiencies.
- Manage non-labor operating costs in alignment with budgetary expectations.
- Timely process and submit monthly expenses and budget data in accordance with internal controls.
- Meet net operating income (NOI) and occupancy goals.
- Oversee all departments, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with established financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Health Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of managerial experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in management, including hiring, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Sales experience is preferred.
- Proven track record in managing operating expenses effectively.
- Administrator License or certification is required.
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities, inspiring confidence and motivating team members to excel.
