Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our luxury Independent Living community. This role presents an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact in the senior housing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations and management of the community, ensuring alignment with the standards set by the Owners/Board of Directors and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Communicate and exemplify a clear, customer-focused vision rooted in a resident-centered model of care.
  • Build and nurture relationships within the local community to drive business growth and enhance market positioning.
  • Implement an effective external business development strategy to maximize referral leads and resident move-ins.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of state regulations and ensure compliance in all resident administrative files.
  • Achieve financial targets while maximizing occupancy and revenue through strategic pricing and operational excellence.
  • Review financial statements and implement corrective actions as necessary to address any deficiencies.
  • Manage non-labor operating costs in accordance with budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of managerial experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
  • Proven experience in hiring, coaching, and managing team performance.
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous.
  • Strong track record in managing operating expenses effectively.
  • Administrator License/certification is preferred.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities that inspire and motivate team members.
