Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Principal GIS Consultant to join our leadership team and support the development and execution of industry-leading geospatial solutions for our clients. As a key member of our team, you'll work directly with customers, technical teams, and industry partners to position for, respond to, and deliver solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead the Implementation of Geospatial Solutions: From initial strategy to delivery, you'll be responsible for leading the implementation of geospatial solutions that meet our clients' needs.
- Collaborate with Customers and Teams: You'll work closely with customers, team members, and partners to develop and deliver technology roadmaps, requirements analysis, and project planning.
- Assemble and Lead Pursuit Teams: You'll assemble and lead pursuit teams responding to RFPs, defining WBS, scope, schedule, cost, pricing, and teaming partners/subs.
- Identify Market Gaps and Opportunities: You'll identify gaps in the market, new technology, and trends that present opportunities for TRC to pursue new business.
- Influence and Foster Strong Relationships: You'll influence and foster strong relationships with our customers, mentoring team members and supporting them in their career aspirations.
- 10+ Years of Related Experience: You'll have at least 10 years of experience in implementing GIS solutions and functional knowledge of leading-edge Esri ArcGIS technology.
- Technical Expertise: You'll have the ability to translate business requirements into proposed technical solutions, manage project teams, and apply project methodologies and tools.
- Strong Communication Skills: You'll have strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to proactively engage customers and guide them through clear, concise communication techniques.
- Travel Requirements: You'll be required to travel up to 50% of the time.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range based on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. You may also be eligible for participation in our annual Discretionary Bonus Program, contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators.
