Salary Range:
$16.00 per hour

Basic Function: This role involves various facility maintenance responsibilities and direct customer interaction. While prior experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory for all positions. The individual must be capable of working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute all maintenance and cleaning tasks as outlined in checklists and as instructed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the garage to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness around entrances, exits, and stairwells, including surface area rails and restrooms.
  • Regularly empty trash receptacles in the garage, booth, and office areas.
  • Perform painting duties as directed to maintain the appearance of various surfaces within the facility.
  • Replace burnt-out light bulbs as needed.
  • Apply absorbent materials to manage oil spills.
  • Submit maintenance and repair requests promptly.
  • Inspect safety equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Monitor ticket dispensers and gates for operational efficiency and appearance.
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and keep records of maintenance activities.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and tools, including sweepers and snow removal equipment as required.
  • Report any observed safety hazards or policy violations to the Facility Manager promptly.
  • Uphold the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and the Five Customer Service Behaviors to enhance customer interactions.
  • Assist customers within the facility as needed.
  • Address customer complaints effectively, with or without supervisory assistance.
  • Be knowledgeable about all operational aspects and perform additional duties as necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards during scheduled shifts.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Facility maintenance, electrical, or painting experience may be required based on job assignment.



License Requirement:

A valid state-issued driver's license is required if driving a company vehicle is part of the job responsibilities.



Availability:
Shift requirements may vary based on the needs of the location, including potential weekend and third-shift availability.

Communication Skills:
Clear verbal communication; active listening and responsiveness to inquiries are essential.

Written Communication:
Ability to write clearly and interpret written information effectively.

Customer Service:
Maintain a positive demeanor and respond promptly to service requests.

Adaptability:
Ability to adjust to changes in the work environment and manage unexpected situations.

Demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making.

Maintain composure under pressure.

Language Skills:
Proficient in reading, writing, and interpreting English; capable of addressing common customer inquiries.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements of this position include regular use of hands and fingers, communication with customers and colleagues, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods. The role may also involve climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more.

Employees must be able to work in various weather conditions and with potential irritants.
