Position Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to uphold the quality standards of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute preventative maintenance and complete work orders, including tasks such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl to ensure the hotel maintains its quality standards.

2. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance assignments.

3. Assist in evaluating electrical systems, including air conditioning controls and lighting systems, and perform minor repairs or replacements as necessary.

4. Support routine and major repairs of hotel equipment, including kitchen and laundry appliances, HVAC systems, and plumbing fixtures.

5. Maintain the hotel's pool by adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters, while also documenting maintenance requests.

6. Enhance the building's exterior and curb appeal through tasks such as snow removal, lawn care, and painting.

7. Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, including cabinets and tables, and perform painting and finishing as needed.

8. Address guest inquiries and concerns courteously to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.

9. Operate heavy machinery and work in varying temperature conditions.

10. Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for work.
