We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess robust design and project management skills, taking on the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee project management and engineering design for civil engineering initiatives.
  • Manage and contribute to all stages of various civil engineering projects, including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, and coordination of construction documentation.
  • Coordinate project teams to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in construction documents and during the construction phase.
  • Engage with clients, regulatory bodies, and agencies to foster strong professional relationships.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, financial records, client communications, and project timelines.
  • Ensure the accuracy of technical documents through rigorous Quality Assurance reviews at various project stages.
  • Exhibit proven leadership skills and possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Participate in planning, cost estimation, and scheduling for assigned projects.
  • Engage in marketing and business development efforts, including the creation of project proposals and offering technical expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Engineer; licensure in the state of Tennessee is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain professional engineering registration in multiple states.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and cultivate excellent interpersonal relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in client engagement and team leadership.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation; skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
