Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Utilize Autodesk Civil3D for developing and refining intricate engineering designs.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of water and wastewater systems, pinpointing areas for enhancement or necessary upgrades.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to guarantee project success.
  • Manage construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare and present thorough reports on project progress, addressing any challenges or issues encountered.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements and technologies in water/wastewater engineering to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's Degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Water/Wastewater Engineering, particularly in municipal infrastructure and wastewater treatment.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D or equivalent software.
  • Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations concerning water and wastewater systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, sustainability, and the integration of innovative technologies in engineering.
