About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in the South Puget Sound area. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in the preparation and implementation of strategic plans for the area and business unit, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and communicate accurate and timely financial forecasts, budgets, and projections to ensure the financial health and stability of the business.
  • Leadership and Development: Foster a culture of excellence, promoting employee growth and development, and ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that the company's safety programs are implemented and maintained, and that all employees adhere to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least five years in a leadership or management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
