Compensation: $21 - $23 per hour

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The Senior Field Technician role involves conducting daily inspections within the LDAR Program as necessary. Key responsibilities include performing LDAR inspections, assisting the CPM and FPM with QAQC, and managing logistics for field technicians. The following duties are integral to the Senior Field Technician's role:

  • Execute all tasks with integrity, safety, and professionalism.
  • Foster a positive team environment.
  • Communicate any program deficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Report instances of non-compliance.
  • Lead safety meetings and champion a culture of safety.
  • Conduct thorough Job Safety Analyses at job sites and review JSA documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and assist Field Technicians as needed.
  • Perform and document calibration of monitoring instruments as required.
  • Conduct calibration-precision tests and response time tests as necessary.
  • Verify accuracy of handheld devices and data.
  • Adhere to all permit and site sign-in protocols.
  • Lead and/or independently conduct field inspections accurately and efficiently.
  • Document leaks thoroughly and accurately.
  • Manage inventory tags and address discrepancies found in the field.
  • Maintain accurate field inventories and assist with Management of Change documentation.
  • Perform drift assessments as needed.
  • Ensure job sites are clean and organized.
  • Conduct additional LDAR service inspections as required.
  • Assist with re-inspections and special inspections when requested.
  • Provide support for instrument-related issues as needed.
  • Facilitate transportation logistics for technicians to and from job sites.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on QAQC initiatives.
  • Complete inventory projects in the field and maintain database accuracy.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the team.
  • Participate in and lead training sessions for career development and safety compliance.
  • Handle sensitive company and client information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by project managers.

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate knowledge of LDAR-related hardware and tools
  • Familiarity with applicable Federal, State, and Local LDAR regulations

Years of Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of LDAR experience

Systems

  • Experience with Workday is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of LDAR database software programs is required

Licensures/Training Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License is mandatory
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) are required
  • Relevant Safety Council Training is a plus
  • Refinery Safety Overview (RSO) training is beneficial
  • Man lift Certification is advantageous
  • First Aid and CPR Certification is beneficial

Safety/Drug Screening

  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
  • Must successfully complete urine, alcohol, and hair drug tests
  • Capability to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights
  • Must pass an OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation and use respiratory equipment.
